Celebrating 25 Years of Pantos at the Anvil

In 2019 The Anvil in Basingstoke celebrated 25 years since it opened in May 1994.  That’s 25 years of Anvil pantos too!  We’ve had many of the stars of those pantos on the show over the years starting with Keith Chegwin in 1998, and we’ve sent many members of staff to see them in our Cracker Dash competitions over the years too.

To help celebrate we’ve put together a compilation fo some of those guests for a show which can be heard on Christmas Day.  As well as Cheggers, the likes of Toyah Wilcox, Colin Baker, Lucy Benjamin and Mark Rhodes are also included amongst others.

There are two themes running through the interviews, how much everyone likes Basingstoke and the Anvil, and the Tadley broom!
