Christmas Show Back for 2022

The Sound of Sunday Big Christmas Show is back for 2022 with 4 hours of live festve fun and features.

The show has been running in some form every Christmas since the mid 1990s and has gradually grown over the years.  We haven’t been able to do everything we used to over the last couple of years but we have done some things slightly differently to keep the show going with special guests, competitions and of course requests and this year is no different.

We will be live from 1pm on Sunday 11 December with guests from the local pantos and shows including The Anvil and the hospital panto.  Richard Smith will join us to talk about the first Big Broadcast-less year for quite a while plus The A to Z of Pop Christmas offerings and we will send a member of staff and their family to The Anvil to see Cinderella courtesy of our annual competition.

Plus the residents of Cherry Blossom Manor will join us for The Great Christmas Cracker Dash.  There will be requests in Music on Demand and other opportunities to win throughout the afternoon.
